National Association of Interpretation
Sacramento, CA. Janice Kelley is one of two recipients from Region Nine of the National Association of Interpretation (NAI) to be awarded a $750 scholarship to help pay for attendance to the National Interpreters Workshop in Albuquerque, New Mexico from November 6 –11, 2006. Janice has conducted short workshops in schools on environmental, science, history, food and nutrition topics. She specializes in blending art, oral storytelling and writing to help youth improve literacy and creative thinking skills. She also teaches at Sierra College helping students write their personal or family stories.
